Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Science Consultant to join our Financial Services team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for helping financial organizations drive their data-driven transformation through data engineering, modelling, and strategic roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help clients navigate complex statistical analysis in languages such as Python and R.
  • Work on projects that involve Risk/Financial Modelling, Regulatory focus, or Data Engineering (data infrastructure, pipelines, etc.).
  • Build relationships with clients and identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to drive the growth of our Financial Services practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Data Science, Engineering, Consultancy, and Finance.
  • Familiarity with Risk Modelling, European Regulations, or Data Engineering in the FS sector is highly valued.
  • A quantitative MSc degree (e.g., Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science).
  • A clear vision on high-quality data science and data modelling.
  • Passion for identifying patterns in data using customised, self-programmed models.
  • Excellent English language and communication skills.
  • Intrinsic motivation for continuous learning.
