ASML is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Engineer to join our team. As a Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment and human safety within our Test Area.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Test & Measurement Engineer to conduct testing in a safe working environment by creating and maintaining safe and efficient labs.
- Keep track and propose improvements of test areas efficiency.
- Take lead in changes and upgrades of Test Area's and facilities.
- Control the administration of documents, procedures of Test Area's & support the Test Equipment validation.
- Take ownership of material handling within TMF Environment.
- Supervise the Test Area and Personnel for compliance with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) & TMF safety regulations.
- Collaborate and create a strong working relationship with CRE, EHS, TAM regarding labs.
- Comply to culture within the team, according to ASML values.
- Representing TMF and maintaining network and stakeholders.
- Ensure lean (5S+1) mindset within Test Area's.
- Bachelor of Science / Master of Science in preferably in Safety Engineering or Technical background, with several years of similar safety-related Test-Area & Safety experience.
- Team player to enable team collaboration and shared deliverables.
- Safety-minded (addressing unwanted behavior).
- Self-propelling, showing initiative and driving results.
- Pragmatic – Hands on.
- Result-driven.
- Strong communicator.
