Envalior is a leading global engineering materials company, established in 2023, with a combined heritage of over 100 years. We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Expert to join our Global Supply Chain team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and innovative organization, shaping the future of our industry. As a Customs Expert, you will play a critical role in managing all customs-related matters for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring full compliance with customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely and correct filing of import and export declarations and quarterly IPR reports to local authorities.
  • Ownership of customs-related fields in SAP and SAP GTS, ensuring data integrity.
  • Maintenance of the customs manual.
  • Assistance with inbound transportation, coordinating with calloff teams at various sites.
  • Arrangement of export-related customs documentation for European sites.
  • Management of preference determination and related processes in SAP GTS.
  • Assistance with transportation for interplant movements.
  • Maintenance of open communication with customs authorities.
  • Minimization of demurrage, detention, and other inbound transport costs.
  • Optimization of inbound lead times and flows in terms of time, cost, and modality.
  • Management of transportation supplier relationships with the Customs team lead.
Requirements:
  • 3-8 years of experience in international trade and logistics.
  • Relevant experience in filing import and export declarations for BE and/or DE customs.
  • Certification to file import/export declarations in Belgium and/or Germany.
  • Understanding of risks related to import and export transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
