We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Houseman to join our Housekeeping team at Ambassade Hotel. As a Houseman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving and storing linens and housekeeping supplies: You will be responsible for receiving and storing linens and other housekeeping supplies in the designated areas.
- Lifting and carrying linens and towels: You will be required to lift and carry linens and towels from the linen room to the various floors of the hotel.
- Restocking water supplies: You will be responsible for restocking water supplies on the various floors of the hotel.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of public areas: You will work with the Housekeeping team to maintain the cleanliness of public areas, including corridors, stairways, and public restrooms.
- Assisting with laundry: You will assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, and folding linens.
- Assisting with cleaning: You will assist with cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing public areas.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Work will be performed in a hotel environment, with exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
