At JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Scientist to join our Technology Solutions Global R&D team. As a Principal Scientist, you will play a key role in driving the development of our coffee and tea products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic guidance on the development of our coffee and tea products, leveraging your expertise in physics and chemistry to drive innovation and improvement.
- Work closely with our R&D team to develop and implement new product concepts, ensuring that they meet our quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with our operations team to ensure the successful launch of new products, including the development of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Represent JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS in the scientific and professional community, maintaining and growing links with research institutes, universities, and professional bodies to bring new capabilities and insights back into the company.
- Master's or PhD in physics or chemistry, with a strong background in research and development.
- At least 10 years of experience in a research and development role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and projects.
- Strong understanding of the coffee and tea industry, including the science and technology behind coffee and tea production.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
