About the Role

Metyis is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of projects in Data & Analytics and building lasting relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the cause of our clients by leading the execution of projects in Data & Analytics.
  • Lead interactions with our client teams to understand their business processes, aspirations, challenges, and develop plans for effective Data Analytics-based solutions.
  • Challenge existing processes and develop improved or innovative solutions with clear ROI.
  • Prepare viable and efficient plans for project execution.
  • Actively manage the execution of Data Analytics projects.
  • Manage regular project scrum processes with Metyis and client project teams.
  • Lead projects and client interactions.
  • Setup and facilitate need-based workshops, meetings, and interviews with client stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage project progress, delivery risks, and ensure projects complete on time, within budget, and the full scope is delivered.
  • Troubleshoot and help manage challenges faced by the team.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of project governance and adherence to execution plans.
  • Lead a cross-cultural and multi-skilled team of solution architects, functional experts, Data & Analytics developers to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Partner clients in the adoption of developed solutions to derive business process improvements and ROI.
  • Have a willingness to travel as needed for client projects.
  • Support sales efforts via the preparation of proposals, case studies, and client presentations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the delivery of Data Analytics-based solutions.
  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc.) and/or MBA.
  • Experience in Project Management, with knowledge of best practices and frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile (including DevOps) way of working and running scrum teams, either as a Scrum Master or Project Manager.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders across clients, peers, and supervisors.
  • Consulting bent of mind, with strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and quantitative aptitude.
  • Experience in the delivery of analytics solutions in cloud computing environments. Knowledge of basic-level programming skills in SQL.
  • Awareness of Data & Analytics solution concepts and current trends on Data Warehousing, BI, Reporting, Data Science, and AI.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written); fluent in English. Knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.
  • Ability to innovate and deal with a constantly changing environment.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of Python, PowerBI, Tableau, Cloud Analytics solutions, Data Science.
  • Modelling, Deep Learning & AI.
  • Knowledge of Data warehouse design, development, and maintenance.
  • Experience with SDLC and Waterfall development processes.
  • Experience with designing and developing solution architecture.
