SAP Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Support Analyst to join our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a key member of our Service Delivery Organization, you will be responsible for maintaining all ADM systems in operation with the highest availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep functional & technical expertise in SAP PPDS, including demonstrated knowledge of key integration points across different modules and technical components.
  • Assume full ownership of support tickets in the respective process area, working with integration, other process teams, development teams, and 3rd party support providers to resolve tickets within operational/service level agreement limits.
  • Understand global templates and regional solutions designed/developed by Solution Delivery teams and resolve tickets while keeping the solution intact.
  • Perform thorough testing, including regression testing, before releasing any solution for final user validation.
  • Understand and follow ADM IT processes in performing all day-to-day activities.
  • Understand ADM IT Service Management process, update incident/problem/service tickets regularly and accurately, and document resolution in the service management tool.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in one or more SAP modules; experience with S/4HANA highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of S4 HANA embedded PPDS or SAP APO PPDS, flexible planning, MRP Live, demand management, capacity requirement planning, CIF error handling, inter company stock transfer planning, subcontracting, etc.
  • Strong knowledge in setting up various kinds of planning processes (Make to Stock, ETO, CTO) and integration with other planning solutions, i.e., IBP, APO & third-party planning solutions.
  • Expertise with SAP S/4 HANA PP-PI solutions covering working with process messages, master recipes with process instructions, PI sheets, and production execution using interface with MES, production scheduling, capacity planning, backflushing, subcontracting, shop floor operations, and batch management.
  • Experience with production planning processes, PPPI master data, and relevant configuration, i.e., MRP, Demand management, capacity planning, ATP, MTO, MTS, etc.
