Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing material supply to meet customer demand.
Your primary duties will include:
- Leading logistics and operation planning for automotive projects
- Preparing and providing RFQs to 3PL providers
- Completing 3PL selection and qualification processes
- Setting up and implementing operations for automotive projects
- Managing quality reviews for automotive projects
- Coordinating end-of-life planning and actions
- Leading emergency planning and actions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in logistics and material planning for electronics products in the automotive industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a VAS provider
- Logistics experience in automotive OEM/Tier 1
- Experience working with production plants in Asia
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
- Service selling and sourcing skills
- Hands-on attitude and skills in operations
- Proficiency in negotiation and collaboration with other functions
- Customer-oriented attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and timely
- Analysis of operation requirements for new projects, preparation of logistic proposals, and cost estimation
