Job Title: Privacy Counsel

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Privacy Counsel to join our team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. As a Privacy Counsel, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with data protection regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate global privacy legal advice on all aspects of data protection to various business units.
  • Work on Privacy terms, data sharing agreements, and data processing agreements, including cross-border data transfer provisions, data localization requirements, and profiling.
  • Review and conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy risk assessments for projects.
  • Monitor and respond to developments in data protection and relevant consumer laws.
  • Develop and provide impactful training for employees.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of experience, including 1 year of hands-on Privacy experience.
  • Significant experience drafting contracts and negotiating with respect to international data transfers.
  • High level of integrity, resilience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a Multinational Corporation is preferred.
