Job Title: Senior Technical Procurement Specialist Solar

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Procurement Specialist Solar to join our team at Independent Recruiters. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for strategically managing the purchasing and supply chain of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet the needs of our organization
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and support to procurement team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in procurement in a technical environment, with a strong preference for Renewables/Solar
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Chinese market
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
