Procurement Specialist

Damen Shipyards is a leading constructor of ships and ship repair facilities. We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to join our team.

This role involves the procurement process within our projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

• Developing procurement plans and strategies.
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure best prices and terms.
• Managing procurement processes and ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborating with project teams to identify procurement needs.
• Preparing and maintaining procurement documentation.

• Educated in a relevant field, preferably in maritime or technical sector.
• Strong affinity with purchasing and work preparation.
• Experience in procurement or similar role preferred.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking and results-oriented mindset.
• Team player with collaborative attitude.
• Attention to detail and proactive approach.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
