Job Description

At ADM Europoort, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Officer to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating and settling in- and outbound flows, ensuring seamless transportation of vegetable oil and biodiesel products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Update stock, inputs, and outputs in Excel spreadsheets or internal applications
  • Manage contracts, including purchase, sale, and freight agreements
  • Verify orders against contract conditions, settled quantities, and stock positions
  • Create and present shipping documents to counterparts, checking documents from third-party suppliers
  • Follow up on payments, demurrage, or other issues and escalate when necessary
  • Nominate counterparts, ships agents, surveyors, labs, and storage facilities
  • Manage commodity positions for vegetable oils, both paper and physical
  • Maintain contact with counterparts, service providers, and plant/refinery teams
  • Create daily instruction emails for plant/refinery teams
  • Ensure correct settlement with counterparts
  • This role may require participation in an on-call duty
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent analytical thinking level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dutch language proficiency and English fluency
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle daily software programs
  • Ability to understand complex administrative and logistical processes, logistic procedures, documents, contracts, and contract positions
  • Team player with initiative, attention to detail, and logical thinking
