We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Specialist to join our team at Covebo Uitzendgroep. As an HSE Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our safety culture and ensuring compliance with global standards.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a solid background in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and be able to lead risk assessments, identify improvements in production processes, and collaborate closely with managers to ensure all employee and contractor activities adhere to HSE legal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead risk assessments and implement action plans effectively;
- Evaluate proposed purchases and projects to guarantee they meet HSE standards from the start;
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 across the organization;
- Conduct health and safety training to promote a safety-first culture;
- Identify and recommend improvements in production processes and workplace organization;
- Collaborate closely with managers to ensure HSE legal requirements are met.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of HSE principles and practices;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
