The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in AI and data-intensive applications. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • AI Software Development: Develop and maintain AI pipelines that integrate with our climate science team to deliver accurate and reliable forecasts.
  • Data Pipeline Construction: Design and implement efficient data pipelines to process and manage large volumes of meteorological data.
  • Automation Systems Development: Create automation systems to streamline data processing and model deployment, ensuring seamless scalability and reliability of our forecasting solutions.
  • User Interface Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to design intuitive user interfaces that present complex climate data in an easily accessible format.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI and data-intensive applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, with a solid understanding of ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
