About the Role
The Regulatory Model Management department at ABN AMRO Bank is seeking a talented Junior Regulatory Specialist to join their team. As a junior specialist, you will participate in ongoing initiatives and be coached on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the IRB credit risk (CR) models and related processes, procedures, and systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Participate in initiatives to translate the bank's business strategy into the model landscape.
- Provide advice on the design, implementation, oversight, and performance of the internal model landscape.
- Maintain the quality of IRB credit risk (CR) models and related processes, procedures, and systems.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in quantitative, financial, and non-financial analyses.
About You
- Hold an academic education in a relevant field, such as econometrics, mathematics, actuarial studies, risk management, or finance.
- Have skills in tools such as SAS or Excel.
- Have experience with internships at ECB or financial institutions/regulatory is an advantage.
- Be willing to increase knowledge in statistics, banking products, regulatory reporting, or credit risk assessments.
- Possess excellent communication skills in English, teamwork skills, and a goal-oriented profile.
