About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Spare Parts Procurement Specialist to join our team at Marel. As a key member of our Spare Parts Procurement Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of spare parts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices and delivery terms.
  • Manage the procurement process from request to delivery, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes and strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement project management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex procurement-related issues.
  • Proficiency in SAP, PLM, Excel, and Power BI, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
