Civil Engineer for HV Structure

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Transmission and Distribution Technology (TDT) advisory team in Arnhem, the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and specifying systems and constructions for high-voltage transmission and distribution, including substations, HVDC installations, and high-voltage connections.
Key Responsibilities- Advising on, modeling, and operational work for the structural design and practical aspects of transmission and distribution structures.
- Preparing specifications and tender documents.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on grid-related projects.
- Engaging in discussions with customers about design, project realization, and progress.
- Encouraging the adoption of BIM and SE methodologies within TDT.
- MSc-level degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Practical knowledge of multiple CAD and 3D tools.
- Expertise and/or a willingness to excel in other analysis tools, such as SAP2000, FEM, and Python.
- Knowledge and/or practical experience with international standards.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both oral and written.
- A willingness to travel abroad (about 10%).
- A proactive attitude, taking responsibility for your tasks and competencies.
- Curiosity, interest, and engagement.
- An open mindset and innovative thinking, making collaboration both enjoyable and engaging.
