Key Responsibilities

As a machine operator, your main task is to fulfill the planning of your filling line by streamlining the production process. You'll ensure meticulous handling of every order by clearly instructing the production staff assisting you and engaging them in the process. Proficiency in English is required, along with a willingness to learn Dutch. Additional language skills in Ukrainian, Polish, or Arabic are advantageous.

During the extensive training period, you will learn how to operate autonomously among the machines on the filling lines. In executing tasks independently, you'll consider various factors, including:

  • Reading filling orders and calling for the required materials in a timely manner;
  • Converting and setting up the production line based on the filling orders;
  • Manually connecting hoses in the various manifolds for the supply of the product to be filled;
  • Adjusting/replacing label rolls during the production process;
  • Setting and adjusting the filling speed during the production process;
  • Resolving common malfunctions;
  • Taking samples for quality measurements;
  • All occurring activities as indicated by the team leader;
  • Ensuring that the safety of colleagues is guaranteed.

Requirements

Requirements for this position include:

  • Minimum MBO3 working and thinking level;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a technical position;
  • A forklift certificate is an advantage.
