Group Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Security Engineer to join our team at Gamma. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our organization's products, applications, systems, and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the effective implementation of a range of security tooling to protect our organization's assets.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date security standards and procedures.
- Work closely with members of the technology, engineering, and IT teams to identify and resolve security issues.
- Ensure the most up-to-date technical security practices are being used, taking into consideration our wide technology stack.
- Act as an escalation point during security incidents and drive investigative and remediation actions.
- Act as Gamma's subject matter expert regarding security controls and tools.
- Manage security relationships with the Operational, Architecture, Development, Engineering, and Design teams. Influencing output wherever necessary.
- Support customer bid teams by sharing knowledge of Gamma security controls.
- Support the Chief Architect with relevant industry body relationship management.
- Ensure active participation with the wider security industry, nurturing relationships to share learning and best practice with each other.
Requirements
- Working within a technology-driven organization.
- Exposed to a wide range of security technologies, including Windows, Linux, and Cloud.
- Assist in the delivery of technical security controls into an organization.
- Threat modelling, use case development, and tools delivery.
- Technical security controls.
- Security process and practices.
- Influencing and relationship building with various stakeholders.
- Detail-focused.
- Proactive approach to self-development.
- Ability to work within a scoped and bounded project.
- Delivery in a fast-paced environment.
