Release Lead Role at Topicus

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Release Lead to join our dynamic team at Topicus. As a Release Lead, you will play a crucial role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating software releases, ensuring seamless delivery and integration of new and updated solutions for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed release schedules and plans.
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on service request backlogs and third-party applications.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that impact release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Monitor progress to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of releases.
  • Ensure releases meet quality standards.
  • Communicate key plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, QA plans, schedules, and scope changes.
  • Publish release notes and technical documentation for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Release Lead or have worked in a similar role within software development.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills combined with the proficiency in using release management tools Jenkins, Git, Jira.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
