Key Responsibilities
As a Chef de Partie at Conservatorium Hotel, you will be part of a dynamic kitchen team operating at a high standard and volume. You will oversee the daily functions of a specific section within the kitchen, ensuring excellence in food preparation, hygiene standards, and cost management. Your role will include mentoring junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster their growth, while ensuring the quality and consistency of our culinary offerings.

Work Environment
The kitchen at Conservatorium Hotel is the largest on-site, with a team of approximately 24 chefs working daily. Our kitchen brigade includes Commis, Demi Chef de Parties, Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs, and Senior Sous Chefs. We pride ourselves on crafting dishes with a focus on seasonal ingredients and sustainability.

The kitchen operates from early morning for breakfast service, with shifts extending into the evening. Applicants should be prepared for early starts or late finishes, depending on the position applied for. Candidate Profile
We are seeking a new team member who possesses a vibrant, enthusiastic approach to culinary arts and can inspire junior staff to foster a cohesive work environment. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of two years of recent experience in a similar Chef de Partie role; Familiarity with the type of cuisine we offer, as outlined in our menu; Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken; Knowledge of hygiene standards and HACCP regulations; Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
