About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Purchaser to join our team at Rivertech. As a key member of our Technical Department, you will play a vital role in sourcing technical materials and supplies, coordinating logistics, and handling administrative tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Communicating effectively with suppliers and stakeholders
- Arranging transportation and ensuring timely delivery of goods
You will serve as the essential link between our Technical Managers, Corporate Engineers, and the Captain and crew, ensuring that all goods and supplies are delivered according to purchase orders or service tickets.
As a Technical Purchaser, you will be responsible for quickly processing orders from ships received through our ticket system or email. You will ensure the supply chain runs smoothly, handling each order with precision and attention to detail.
To thrive in this dynamic work environment, having a technical background or a strong interest in the maritime industry is beneficial. Our team supports a large fleet of ships across Europe, so the ability to work under time pressure and think proactively is essential.
You will work closely with our Purchase Manager, Technical Director, and Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication.
