HVAC Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Specialist to join our team at Royal IHC. As a key member of our basic engineering team, you will play a crucial role in setting up HVAC installations on board our vessels.

• Request quotations for HVAC installation specifications and demarcation, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
• Calculate necessary parameters, including heat transmission, to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with our purchasing department to make informed decisions about suppliers based on technical, quality, and commercial considerations.
• Oversee, guide, and direct subcontractors regarding information flow, scheduling, and technical execution.
• Ensure timely completion of installations within specifications and boundaries, adhering to class approvals and national regulations.
• Provide timely information for integrating HVAC installations into systems and boundaries as part of the basic engineering team.
• Enter data for HVAC installations into PDM and ERP systems.
• Assist and support detailed engineering for incorporating HVAC systems into 3D CAD models.
• Review, assess, and potentially enhance 3D CAD models in close collaboration with detail engineering and HVAC suppliers.

• Possession of a diploma from a practical or higher education institution with a mechanical background and additional HVAC study.
• 3-5 years of experience in the shipbuilding or maritime sector, with expertise in climate and energy technology.
• Proficiency in using 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
• Effective communication skills, capable of working efficiently in a complex, international environment.
• Proactive in proposing practical solutions.
• Willingness to learn Dutch if not already proficient.

• Gross monthly salary between €3,402 and €4,736, plus an 8% holiday allowance (based on a full-time working week).
