Role Summary
The role of the Global Supply Chain Planner is pivotal in orchestrating the comprehensive supply chain planning process. This position is responsible for harmonizing various specialized planning functions to ensure product availability aligns with market demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Oversight: Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to balance carrying costs with service level objectives.
- Supply Chain Planning: Formulate and implement supply strategies that guarantee product availability across the global network while optimizing manufacturing costs and maximizing production output.
- Supplier Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with external manufacturers to secure favorable terms and ensure reliable supply.
- Collaborative Efforts: Partner with local supply chain teams, finance, and product managers to align supply chain strategies with overarching business goals.
- Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements in processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs throughout the supply chain.

Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or analytical roles within global organizations.
- Proficiency in advanced supply chain planning software and tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for interpreting data to drive informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration across various organizational levels.
- Financial acumen to optimize costs and enhance profitability.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating urgency and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as APICS (CSCP, CDPP).
- Familiarity with the Business to Business Ingredients market and complex supply chain structures.
