The Product Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Product Marketing Manager in managing product categories. This involves conducting competitive analysis and creating sales tools that effectively position and communicate the product categories' value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth competitive product and pricing analysis for assigned product categories, documenting findings and insights.
- Collaborate with the Director of Product Marketing to specify market requirements for current and future products, informed by market research, sales team feedback, and dealer visits.
- Support the sales team in the launch process of new products by providing training and developing effective presentation tools.
- Offer expert advice to the Director of Product Marketing on product pricing, grounded in a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to develop innovative ways to showcase products at events and tradeshows.
Requirements:
- Technical education in Electronics and/or Electrical engineering or a marketing management degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with English being the primary language.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to operate independently and proactively.
- Analytical skills and a structured work approach.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional travel within EMEA for events, tradeshows, and dealer visits.
Additional Considerations:
- Preferred working hours: 9:30 – 18:00.
- Open to extra hours if required, such as for tradeshows.
- Occasional travel within EMEA for business purposes.
