About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Test Engineer to join our Quality LAB team at Philips. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our medical devices and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute safety compliance tests on Philips' medical devices in accordance with international standards.
- Analyze and interpret test results, and prepare and compile test reports as part of product certification.
- Set up, test, maintain, and troubleshoot test and measurement equipment, including software, for the purpose of testing and measuring assemblies and/or final systems and related items.
- Develop and implement calibration regimes for test and measurement equipment.
- Collaborate with internal customers and certifying agencies to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in safety compliance testing or hardware design/testing in a medical device environment.
- Degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or physics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under time pressure and autonomously.
