About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Editor to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports in Hilversum. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of our content across all of our platforms, including Eurosport channels and premium streams on Discovery+ and HBO Max.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement editorial strategies across cycling, tennis, Winter Sports, and UFC.
  • Create running orders for studio broadcasts and ensure consistency and uniformity across all our platforms.
  • Work closely with editors and other team members to ensure high-quality content meets our standards and viewer expectations.
  • Manage the editorial team, freelancers, and external production companies.
  • Optimize production budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements

  • Extensive editorial experience in sports content production.
  • Perfect command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Experience with editorial tools and video editing software.
  • Confidence in decision-making and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
