Join Hunkemöller as a Retail Merchandise Intern

In this dynamic internship, you will gain hands-on experience in the retail sector while assisting our team with various responsibilities:

  • Conducting analyses on diverse topics to enhance our Merchandise & Allocation operations.
  • Engaging in merchandising activities for Fashion, Nos, and Repeat teams.
  • Preparing reports for selection meetings.
  • Assisting planners with delivery verifications.
  • Collaborating with our Merchandisers and Allocators to strategize new collections for optimal allocation across countries and stores.
  • Generating insightful analyses and recommendations.
  • Learning about our allocation processes, including our monitoring system that oversees supplier intakes into our warehouse, ensuring timely delivery of fashion orders.
  • Adapting to a fast-paced work environment, where you will contribute to ad hoc analyses.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You possess a strong interest in the effective allocation and planning of products for both physical and online stores.
  • You have completed initial semesters of your HBO/Bachelor's/Master's studies (preferably in Business, Mathematics, or a related field) and are currently enrolled as a student for the duration of the internship.
  • You are proficient in Excel and are eager to enhance your skills.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Your work style is characterized as proactive and organized, with a desire to learn effective planning and prioritization.
  • You are fluent in English.

Eligibility:

To qualify for this internship, you must be available for a minimum of five months and be enrolled at your educational institution for the entire internship duration. Additionally, you should be an EU citizen or a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, with this internship being a mandatory component of your curriculum.
