Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standards and aiming at satisfying and exceeding our guest's expectations.
  • Taking, preparing, and serving orders varying from cocktails, coffees to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to our hotel standards.
  • Making sure that all servicing & kitchen equipment are clean, well maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the fridges, dishes and overall bar and restaurant furniture.
  • Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food & beverage service is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of English, Dutch is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving ability and stress resistance.
  • Proactive attitude and team spirit
  • Passion for hospitality and service
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends & holidays.
