About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join our Finance and Risk Data Domain team at ABN Amro. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supplying Risk MI and FR&R teams with the data they need to compile risk reports and internal models.

Your duties will consist of technical aspects such as SAS/SQL and Python programming, performing Data Quality analyses and integrating datasets. You will also be working on documentation and using your communicative skills for stakeholder alignment.

You will be working in a team that largely consists of highly motivated colleagues with international backgrounds, working in an open and informal atmosphere. Given the importance the regulatory authorities ascribe on the data quality, this is a challenging and impactful role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Risk MI and FR&R teams with the data they need to compile risk reports and internal models
  • Perform technical aspects such as SAS/SQL and Python programming
  • Perform Data Quality analyses and integrate datasets
  • Work on documentation and use your communicative skills for stakeholder alignment
Requirements
  • A Master's degree, preferably a beta (STEM) study
  • Experience in SAS, SQL and/or Python
  • Ability to analyse data sets
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Interest in working with Finance and Risk data in a banking environment
  • Knowledge of risk management in banking or financial institutions is a plus
