About the Role

The MOT Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of DSV trailers to ensure they meet the required standards. This involves inspecting the trailers in accordance with the APK guidelines, drawing up inspection reports, and communicating findings to the Workshop Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting inspections of trailers to identify any defects or issues
  • Drawing up detailed inspection reports and communicating findings to the Workshop Manager
  • Carrying out minor repairs to trailers as needed
  • Maintaining tools and measuring equipment
  • Assisting with spot checks and audits

Requirements

  • Completed vmbo or mbo education in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, agricultural mechanisation, or mobile equipment
  • Experience as a MOT inspector in the heavy transport sector or willingness to learn
  • Technical literacy and key skills
  • Ability to use measuring equipment and test equipment
  • Proficiency in the Dutch language
