Renewables Data Analyst

Vattenfall is seeking a talented Renewables Data Analyst to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our Business Unit Customers, you will play a crucial role in unlocking the commercial value of our existing portfolio of renewable assets.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing new products and services within our software suite, maintaining and extending existing bots, and analyzing data to identify potential improvements in existing processes and increase business performance.
You will work closely with a broad stakeholder community, empowering you to enhance your knowledge and expertise in the dynamic world of renewable energy markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new products and services within our software suite as a citizen developer, leveraging low-code solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy of underlying data flows and related data governance.
- Analyze existing data to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased business performance.
- Support process execution across the end-to-end process, including onboarding new assets and clients, market communication, portfolio optimization, and settlement.
- Participate and lead project initiatives to implement change.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of energy and the renewables PPA market, relevant work experience, and a network in the energy sector. You should have experience as a citizen developer using cloud-based low-code solutions or other programming experience, such as Python. Additionally, you should have experience with data-driven systems used for sales, energy market communication, and settlement.
Solid attention to detail and an affinity for analytic work, including knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI and Power Platform, are essential. Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with UIPath or Blue Prism is considered a plus.
A university degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering or data science, is required. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented approach. Fluency in English is a must, and solid knowledge of German is considered a plus.
