About the Role

The Support Center Logistics department aims to achieve a consistent customer experience through continuous improvement of logistics processes. This involves responsibly planning orders/deliveries and meeting customer requirements. A balanced workload must be found between Operations, LSP, SCL, and transport companies.

The primary process of SCL is monitoring and supporting daily activities at LSP warehouse in Genk, Belgium. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure that customer service and order sales desks in Europe, supply planning, and export markets are met. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for OTIF performance of DCs and transport carriers in line with Service Level Agreements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute order processing on time and in an effective and efficient way within standard norms and procedures.
2. Order transport and create transport documents within standard norms and procedures.
3. Book goods issue within standard norms and procedures and solve irregularities.
4. Execute customs declarations and coordinate regional import and export processes.
5. Be all-round and multiple deployable between modalities (sea, road, air).
6. Troubleshoot issues with shipments.
7. Maintain contact with forwarders, customer service, and order entry departments about processed orders.
8. Investigate transport and documentation-related complaints and come up with a solution to prevent complaints from happening again.
9. Arrange return shipments, track, and trace these shipments and solve irregularities.
10. Take an active role in the management daily improvement (MDI) meeting to improve cooperation with operations and improve efficiency within the SCL department.
11. Create and analyze weekly OTIF reports to ensure high delivery performance.
12. Successfully complete ADR awareness training and IATA training and check airfreight shipments for correctness before loading.
13. Play an active role in behavior-based safety (BBS) observations.
14. Log calls related to IT issues in My Service Portal.
15. Monitor processes and support information for outsourced operations at LSP warehouse.
16. Register and update shipments in the planning database.

What You Need to Bring

1. MBO+ thinking/working level.
2. Experience in customer service and administration or supply planning.
3. Experience in warehousing, transport, and customs.
4. Specific knowledge in export processes and export documentation.
5. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
6. Experience in shipping hazardous materials is preferred.
7. Accurate.
8. Pro-active.
9. Problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work within time constraints and excellent personal organization.
11. Excellent communication skills (English and Dutch – understanding, speaking, and writing).
12. Team player.
