About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentmaker/Instrument Mechanician to join our team at CareerScout. As a key member of our high-tech family business, you will be responsible for creating high-quality tools and instruments that meet the stringent requirements of the Semiconductor and automotive industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manufacture high-precision molds and tools using techniques such as milling, wire EDM, sinking EDM, and grinding.
  • Assemble and test tools to ensure they meet quality and delivery time standards.
  • Perform functional tests on tools and identify any deviations in the production process.
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support machining operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in fine mechanical engineering is an advantage.
  • Training in Metal, SOM, LIS, and/or Instrument Maker or similar fields.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand shape and position tolerances.
  • Familiarity with quality requirements of the Semiconductor and automotive industries.
  • Ability to work with different materials and tolerances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
