Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at FYGI BV in the Netherlands. As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients, ensuring high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using major cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications, ensuring they are highly available, scalable, and performant.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to design, build, and deploy applications on the cloud.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, identifying and resolving performance or security issues.
  • Implement automation techniques to enable quick and easy provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure to ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to cloud infrastructure and architecture to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as a cloud engineer or similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience in cloud automation tools and infrastructure-as-code technologies, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
  • Full fluency in Dutch is required.
