Job Description: As a Sole/Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for owning our infrastructure operations and guiding the evolution of our DevOps and SRE practices. Your primary focus will be on managing, optimizing, and modernizing our systems—primarily on AWS with some GCP. You will collaborate closely with our cybersecurity expert and a world-class software engineering team to ensure our systems are stable, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and upgrade legacy infrastructure using ECS and Terraform
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and software engineering teams
- Drive strategic IT initiatives, aligning DevOps/SRE strategies with business goals
- Budget management for DevOps/SRE activities, focusing on cost optimization
- Work with the security team to ensure compliance with ISO27001 standards
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong technical skills, including experience with GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Build, Logging, IAM, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Run, VPC Network, Network Services, Cloud Tasks, Cloud Scheduler, Workflows, Pub/Sub). Knowledge of Python or a passion for software development is also essential. Additionally, you should have the ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
