Responsibilities
  • Direct and optimize dredging operations to ensure efficient and safe production.
  • Collaborate with the Master to determine the best course of action for dredging operations.
  • Ensure the dredging installation and auxiliary installation are properly maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, site superintendents, surveyors, and local authorities.
  • Provide clear and balanced feedback to colleagues to promote personal and professional growth.
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nautical sciences or a related field.
  • Have extensive experience in the position of 1st Mate or Master in the dredging industry.
  • Hold a COC of II/2.
  • Speak and write fluent English.
  • Have a strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment.
