About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSSE Advisor to join our team at SBM Offshore. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project HSSE Leads with safety case studies and ensure the effective implementation of appropriate safety and environment system procedures.
  • Monitor and control all HSSE matters related to office members and contractors, ensuring compliance with all HSSE legislation and local government regulations.
  • Provide technical support to Senior Management on safety-related subjects and conduct safety audits both internally and externally.
  • Liaise with clients on safety-related issues and participate in HAZOP and HAZID meetings prior to procurement and installation activities.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company directives.
  • Conduct risk assessments, train employees on health and safety procedures, and conduct frequent office safety inspections and checks.
  • Manage emergency procedures, including fire alarm drills, and ensure the correct management and control of the Office ER Team.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma in Engineering, with specialization in QHSE or related discipline.
  • Five years of HSSE relevant experience, including experience with Dutch market and legislation.
  • Working proficiency in English and Dutch.
  • Possess certification in NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable in HuR and Worker Welfare, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA 18001 standards.
  • Lead Auditor (ISO 45001, ISO14001) and ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
