About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our HR team in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating our corporate HR strategy to the Netherlands, enabling our organization's leadership to promote team effectiveness and personal development, and being a visible partner to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic human capital plan to meet our organization's goals and strategy.
  • Develop HR strategies and programs to build an effective and inclusive high-performance culture.
  • Partner, coach, and challenge our organization's leadership on people-related topics.
  • Ensure that the capabilities needed in our organization are in place to deliver our business targets.
  • Create tailored solutions for people's challenges in partnership with regional management.
  • Proactively support and develop a united company culture, vision, and values.
  • Ensure planning, evaluation, and implementation of talent planning and succession plans.

Requirements

  • Master's level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as an HR Manager or Business Partner within an international profit organization.
  • Excellent people leadership skills with a proven track record of building and retaining diverse teams.
  • Strong experience in working with works councils on transformational topics.
  • Problem-solving, results-oriented leader with a positive attitude.
  • Flexible, customer-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial personality, committed and honest.
  • Analytical and problem-solving thinking, with a strong hands-on mentality.
  • Committed to building a diverse, inclusive work environment.
  • Good cultural and organizational sensitivity, proven experience in change management.
  • A good command of Dutch and English in words and writing.
