About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join our TMT & Healthcare sector team in Amsterdam. As a Coverage Banker, you will play a key role in managing our relationships with international corporate clients in the EMEA region, with a focus on the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare and pharmaceutical industry leaders and sector participants
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, including industry trends and developments
  • Drive strategic dialogue with clients and discuss beyond-banking initiatives
  • Maintain active contacts with other departments and disciplines within ING, including Corporate Finance, Lending, Loan Capital Markets, and Risk Management
  • Proactively generate opportunities and transactions, contributing to the origination efforts of the team and local relationship managers
  • Originating flow business and deal opportunities, and safeguarding timely delivery of high-quality and seamless customer due diligence and transaction execution
  • Structuring deals and overseeing the negotiating of transactions in which ING acts as lead arranger
  • Guiding team members and Lending bankers on financial models, credit analyses, rating profiles, and peer group analysis, and managing credit applications
  • Assessing and reviewing industry reports and due diligence on clients in a dynamic sector
  • Directing balance sheet distribution and the syndication or coordination of transactions
  • Guiding, training, and supervising Associates and Analysts in the team
  • Driving and monitoring portfolio management and KYC activities of team members for your clients
About the Team

You will be a member of a successful and highly driven team, working in a dynamic environment with interesting clients and on challenging and prominent transactions. The global TMT & Healthcare sector team consists of dedicated professionals located in New York, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sydney.

What We Offer

We offer a position as a Vice President (Coverage Banker IV) in job scale 12, but would be able to consider a more experienced person at job scale 13 (Director). This is a full-time position for 40 hours a week, based in Amsterdam.
