Automotive Documentation Specialist

Trinamics Beheer B.V. is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining certification documentation for heavy-duty diesel engines. Your expertise in emissions and OBD documentation will be crucial in defining the content of our documentation. You will work closely with technical experts to author parts of the documentation, review, track changes, and guide the approval process. Additionally, you will identify AECDs through a review of the technical implementation of emission control systems and advise development teams to ensure systems meet legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain certification documentation for heavy-duty diesel engines.
- Collaborate with technical experts to define the content of emissions and OBD documentation.
- Author parts of the documentation, review, track changes, and guide the approval process.
- Identify AECDs through a review of the technical implementation of emission control systems.
- Advise development teams to ensure systems meet legal requirements.
- Author and maintain engine test standards for emission testing.
- Continuously improve documentation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines, aftertreatment, calibration, and/or On-Board Diagnostics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced English skills.
- Experience with DITA and documentation tools.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with diverse teams.
