Job Title: Network Engineer

At Allseas, a world-leading contractor in the offshore energy market, we are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic Infra & Cloud team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the daily maintenance, development, and expansion of our network infrastructure, ensuring a secure and reliable environment that meets the demands of our colleagues.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage on-premise and cloud network infrastructure, including Azure and Cisco Enterprise Networking.
  • Implement network security and adhere to compliance with Allseas policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot our network infrastructure to achieve optimal network performance.
  • Document our architecture and build and maintain procedures to share knowledge within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A HBO/BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS-XE and Nexus-OS.
  • Experience with Fortigate Firewalls and Fortimanager.
  • Familiarity with Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco DNA Center.
  • Understanding of Cisco-SD-Access and Cisco ISE.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Azure certifications, are preferred.
