Bentham Science Publishers seeks researchers and scientists to collaborate as Guest Topical Issue Editors for the journal, Current Nutrition and Food Science, contributing to a research area relevant to their field of expertise.

Candidates should have a strong background in scholarly publishing and experience in organizing a Topical Issue. They should be able to assemble a collection of high-quality research/review articles related to their section.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing a comprehensive proposal for a special issue, highlighting its importance and detailing prospective contributors.
  • Collaborating with possible co-editors to effectively organize the special issue and coordinate with authors, ensuring a smooth editorial process.
  • Identifying contributors from diverse regions, focusing on those with a proven publication record.
  • Promoting the special issue to enhance its visibility and impact.

*APCs are discounted to facilitate Open Access publishing by authors.

Necessary Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in a related field is required. A valid Scopus ID is also necessary. Prior experience in publishing guest-edited thematic issues in peer-reviewed journals is essential.

Candidates must have a list of scholarly authors who can consent to contribute research / review articles in the thematic issue(s) proposed by the Topical Issue. Strong professional networks and excellent communication and organizational skills are also required.
