Position Overview

The Connectivity Design Engineer plays a pivotal role within the EDEV Position Measurement group, focusing on the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborating as a member of an Electronic Development team, contributing to diverse project outcomes.
  • Functioning effectively in a flexible and dynamic setting across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Engaging closely with E-Architects and Electro-Mechanical Engineers throughout the design process.
  • Assisting the E-Architect and Product Owner by taking charge of interface agreements and design choices.
  • Developing diagrams and schematics to define the electrical interfaces of our modules within the overall system.
  • Conducting compliance checks, including derating assessments.
  • Participating in Design Kick Offs and review sessions for Technical Product Documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience as an electrical designer specializing in electronic/electrical functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electronics, including architecture, design, and integration.
  • Familiarity with related fields such as physics, mechanics, mechatronics, and software.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor standards, including NFPA-70, NFPA-79, and IEC-60204.

Additional Information

The Development & Engineering (D&E) sector at ASML is responsible for the specification, design, and realization of products within the ASML portfolio.

Within D&E, the Electronic Development (EDEV) cluster focuses on defining, realizing, and qualifying electronic functions and modules for these products.

The EDEV Group for Position Measurement Electronics is tasked with defining, realizing, qualifying, and integrating the electronic functions necessary for Position Measurement systems.

The Electrical Integrator will report to the Group Team Lead for Position Measurement Electronics.
