As a Public Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to support the bank's operations.

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure for the Bundesbank's public cloud services
• Configure and manage landing zones, networks, gateways, load balancers, firewalls, storage, databases, and services
• Support the migration of workloads to the public cloud and take on operational tasks for public cloud services
• Collaborate with internal and external experts to ensure seamless integration and automation
• Apply agile working methods and approaches to deliver high-quality results

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with an IT focus or comparable knowledge from many years of professional experience
• Good knowledge and several years of experience in IT engineering
• Very good knowledge and experience in planning and providing services in cloud environments
• Good knowledge and experience in operating IT infrastructure products and with a cloud service provider, preferably with Microsoft Azure
• Good knowledge of and experience with modern infrastructure and system deployment concepts, container platforms, and different cloud models
• Knowledge and experience in automating tasks, such as with Terraform
• Knowledge of agile methods in IT engineering, such as DevOps
• Analytical and conceptual skills, independent working style, and good communication skills
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
