Job Title: Project Manager NPI

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team at VDL Enabling Technologies Group. As a Project Manager NPI, you will be responsible for introducing and industrializing new mechatronic modules and/or systems from the development phase to the 'release for volume' phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Become responsible for all technical, financial, logistical, and quality (QLTC) aspects of the project.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team consisting of engineers with various specializations, including factory engineers, purchasing, manufacturing engineers, supply chain engineers, and quality engineers.
  • Ensure the realization of project objectives.
  • Report project progress to both internal VDL ETG and external clients.
  • Transfer the project to the client's Program Team, responsible for the serial production of the industrialized products.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have extensive experience in project management within the complex manufacturing industry.
  • Be a strong leader with excellent communication skills.
  • Be familiar with the high-tech industry.
  • Have excellent technical and commercial insight.
  • Be analytical, systematic, and plan-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure.
