Vattenfall is a leading European energy company seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Business Unit Offshore Wind team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering general troubleshooting operations and daily maintenance to our HKZ windfarm, consisting of 140 offshore wind turbines.
Your duties will include fault diagnosis and trend analysis, excellent service delivery, teaching and assessing technicians on the job, providing safety and technical reports, and maintaining documentation.
This role requires someone with multiple years of experience working as a technician, ideally within the wind industry, and having a background and broad understanding of Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is desirable.
You will be part of a dedicated service team consisting of over 30 professionals, working in a dynamic environment and requiring the ability to work shifts at the project location in IJmuiden.
