Job Title: EHS Specialist

Valvoline Global is a leading provider of automotive and industrial solutions, and we are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The EHS Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing effective risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in engineering, safety, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in EHS, preferably with multi-site and management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment and control methodologies, as well as formal auditing practices.
  • Working knowledge of comprehensive EHS management systems, such as RC14001, ISO45001, or ANSI Z10.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • HVK certificate.
