Job Title: Treasury/Accounts Payable SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Treasury/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for handling daily requests from Transaction Managers, providing international payment confirmations, and resolving any issues with our banks.
Key Responsibilities:- Extracting SWIFT reports from banking systems and providing international payment confirmations
- Timely and proactive response to specific payment requests, resolving any issues with our banks
- Collecting and processing invoices and other payment requests, updating payment registers across several legal entities
- Validating invoices by obtaining confirmations from owners or expense claimants
- Assisting in preparing payments instructions in banking systems
- Supporting bank balances reconciliation
- Performing other ad-hoc requests related to payments
- Assisting with operational cash bi-weekly updates, including monthly forecasts
- Managing daily Treasury functions, including producing daily liquidity reports
- Managing relationships with banking partners
- Assisting in month-end and ad-hoc treasury reporting
- Assisting with automation related to payment capturing and financial administration
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Trustworthy individual with experience working with different banking or payments systems
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of SWIFT payments and systems
- Proactive, accurate, attentive to details, and well-organized
- Strong communicator in liaison with internal and external stakeholders, such as banks
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, delivering on time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus
