Research Assistant II/Technical Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant II/Technical Assistant to join our team at the Speech and Neuromodulation Laboratory in the Faculty of Education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature reviews, data collection, and data analysis to support research projects
  • Liaise with schools and recruit participants for research studies
  • Schedule and conduct behavioral experiments
  • Prepare linguistic stimuli/tasks in Cantonese
  • Write research reports and articles
  • Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the project leader or their delegates
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Psychology, Linguistics, Neuroscience, or related disciplines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Experience in fieldwork data collection from children and adults, especially with clinical conditions, is preferred
  • At least one year of post-qualification work experience in language-related projects is preferred
